Real Divine Mercy

Question: Can it be said that mercy is the greatest attribute of God?

In order to answer this question, we must first consider what are the attributes of God and then what is there relationship one with another. An attribute of God is an absolutely simple perfection which necessarily exists in God according to our way of conceiving Him. Note that since God is absolutely simple there can be no real distinction between the divine substance and each of the attributes, nor any real distinction between the different attributes.
